Design Scope

Paizo Publishing emerged from Wizards of the Coast as a leader in fantasy magazines. I started at Wizards of the Coast as a digital scanner of all original art for Magic the Gathering, Pokémon, and other card games, then learned color correction and manipulation of those art files, then ultimately became a key player as a production specialist in creating one of the world's first solid PDF/X-1a files for print. 

At Paizo Publishing I designed feature spreads in Dungeons and Dragons magazines as well as art directed Insider, the official Star Wars magazine. I also art directed a new reboot of Amazing Stories magazine (originating from the early 20th century) and had a blast designing page layouts and templates. I searched and purchased photos and commissioned art for fiction stories in each issue and worked closely with an editorial team to organize content for each section.
