Design Scope

Explorer Media & Marketing (EMM) caters to the tourism industry. Northwest Travel & Life (NWTL) magazine consists of beautiful photos and helpful tips to plan your next adventure. It is a bi-monthly magazine, requiring heavy photo wrangling and flexibility balancing content and advertising. I researched design trends for each issue and worked closely with an editorial team to analyze our target audience as well as outline measurable goals. Each issue included a special section or insert that required close communication with the printer.

NWTL required a style guide, media kit, multiple sell sheets, web graphics, tradeshow banners, and much more to promote and market the brand. EMM also hosted annual conferences catering to travel writers. I designed marketing materials including geofencing ads, custom tote bags, and notebooks for the event.
